THE STORY
A freezer snack made specifically for the kids.
This was one of the recipes built from a finished family snack rather than an elaborate cooking project. The goal was simple: something cold, colorful, familiar, and easy for little hands to grab straight from the freezer.
Strawberries are blended into the yogurt base, then blueberries, raspberries, more strawberries, and granola are pressed into the top. Freeze it solid, break it imperfectly, and keep the pieces ready for snack time.
Method
Blend.Blend yogurt, 1 cup strawberries, honey or maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until smooth and pink.
Spread.Line an 18 × 13-inch sheet pan with parchment. Spread the yogurt ¼–½ inch thick.
Top.Scatter blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and granola evenly over the surface. Press gently so they stick.
Freeze.Freeze 4–6 hours or overnight until completely solid.
Break.Lift from the pan, break into pieces, and eat directly from the freezer.
Keep pieces in an airtight freezer container. Nuts, coconut, mini chocolate chips, peanut-butter swirls, or a honey drizzle can replace or join the granola.
